Lorena began dancing and singing at the age of five and never stopped. Throughout her career as a performer she has studied several different dance forms including Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Swing, Salsa, Ballroom, Pilipino Folk Dance and of course Flamenco. She earned her B.A. from UCLA through the World Arts and Cultures Department, concentrating on World Dance integrated with Cultural Studies. After graduating, Lorena continued performing throughout LA with a number of companies such as Mojacar Flamenco, Compania Rina Orellana, Kybele Dance Theater, Flor y Piedra, De Gracia y Pasion and Almardiente Flamenco. Lorena also danced with the Los Angeles Opera in their productions of "Luisa Fernanda," in '07 and "Carmen," in '08.
